The building of Mahila PTC College is complete. After sustained efforts and legal hurdles Gujarat State Govt. agreed to issue N.O.C. For starting the college. We were also able to get accreditation by NCTE and the college was started from academic year 2008 with 32 girls students selected by the Government. The management quota of 25 % could not be filled due to unavailability of hostel accommodation At present the sanctioned capacity is 60 which is likely to double from next year provided we are able to increase our capacity. Besides being self sustaining rather revenue generating project it is considered most important and prestigious as the students graduating from the college are guaranteed for employment by the state. Moreover Jamiat is in great need of women teachers for its expanding   program of child education in backward and rural areas.
